I think I'm starting to get it. But still our government is to corrupted to get rid of capitalism. Even non profits have become a loophole for government money. It boils down to the haves and have not with a dash of greed.

The part your not getting is that this already exists, social security is a public service, anyone working for dhhs is a public service, yet you have companies scamming Medicaid and Medicare with fake or fraudulent claims. Look at all the businesses that took millions of dollars in forgivable loans during COVID fraudulently. Public servants such as police and a public librarian, still can cripple the budget. I guess they have more rules and over site than private business, and that is where our government has failed. After Enron nothing has been the same. If the government had the power to set standards, a tax on profits that exceed a threshold, that would make businesses more likely to lower prices. If the government audits business practices, and would take the human rights away from corporations, people wouldn't become their personal piggy bank, and human shield. But corporations have the same if not more rights than the governments citizens. They are the first to get bailed out always.

We are NOT citizens of the government. We are citizens of this country. The government is supposed to work for us, be under the control of us.
That is exactly what the MAGA movement is all about…returning control of our government and our very lives back to US, the American Citizens.

Without the government to issue me a social security number I would not be considered a citizen. Even if the government worked for its citizens, it still would protect the corporations who injure it's citizens. Even if the people had the power to control the government, it still might go against personal beliefs.
