This is why you learn how to combat confirmation bias

I hate to have to point out the obvious, but with libs we rarely get a full perspective. Confirmation bias is at least a two say street, and supporters of both parties are equally guilty at various times. Hell, until Trump came along and scared the Dems/Swamp/BigTech/Media as an existential threat, it was the Dems were the party that consistently whined and cried about the Republicans stealing elections. It seems Dems have short memories, in addition to some of their other issues.

Yes... you missed the courtroom case AFTER that... where it was proven with just a pen, one could manipulate votes on their machines...

"with just a pen"

....and unfettered access to the passwords, security cards, etc

And innocent people have been incarcerated for crimes they did not commit.

Sometimes juries, judges, prosecutors, etc., get it wrong.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to flesh out that there is a GREAT NEED to put "election scamming" to rest.

Imagine the upheaval if it was declared there was vote fixing.

The suspicion and mistrust raised would never go away.

Not just for that one election for that one seat, but every election for every seat in the nation forevermore.

It is in the government's best interests to exhaust every possible measure at its disposal to remove the slightest possibility from the minds of the people - even if that means outright lying about the facts.

Was there funny business in the voting systems?

Did Zelensky's Ukrainian hackers arrange the fix in exchange for the billions he's since received?

I cannot say for certain, however, believe there is.

Likely always has been, always will be. The illusion of choice and self government is a powerful drug to create a docile and obedient serfdom.

Can I prove it?

Of course not.

Even if I could and did, I would be murdered and labeled a misinformation/disinformation, tin foil hat wearing, domestic terrorist crackpot with ties to Russia. PROBLEM SOLVED.

So..... Tina Peters... criminal? "innocent person put in jail for crimes she did not commit"? "political prisoner" ?

What is your opinion?

And what is the relevance of this case to my comment to which you replied?

I see her as a kook who fell victim to the MAGA cult which ended up leading her to commit crimes.

Kind of along the same lines as the kook who believed the hype about a Clinton pedo sex dungeon or whatever in Comet Pizza which lead him to "investigate" with an AR-15.

"Imagine the upheaval if it was declared there was vote fixing."

Trump and many of his followers have been declaring that for 4 years. Imagine the upheaval if Tina Peters was a Democrat and the person she let access the machines was not an associate of that right wing Mike Pillow guy.

As far as relevance, you were talking about your belief that there was "funny business with voting machines". That sort of belief is ironically what lead that lady to do the funny (criminal) business with the voting machines.

I also noticed you began your comment about judges simply "getting it wrong".... and concluded it deep in conspiracy theory land about our govt paying Ukraine to hack an election that hasn't happened yet.

"I would be ..... labeled a misinformation/ disinformation, tin foil hat wearing, domestic terrorist crackpot with ties to Russia. "

Finally the truth will come out.

"Sure I broke into it, but now you have proof that the prime minister of Lithuania did too so he can give the Big Guy's son a job!"

Do you know exactly what the "funny business" she pulled with the voting machines was and when the offense(s) were alleged to have occurred?

She allowed a former surfer from California who was affiliated with Mike Lindell, Conan Hayes, to observe a software update and make copies of the hard drive using someone else's security badge.

She lied to visiting officials and told them that Hayes, posing as the person the security badge belonged to, worked for her.

Information from the machines and secure passwords were later shared with election conspiracy theorists online.

Shortly after the data was leaked, she appeared at an event put on by Mike Lindell, one of the leading promoters of the conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was rigged.

"Something didn't seem right in our county from years ago to the 2020 election. And they wanted answers. And I said, 'You know what? If there's a there there, we'll find it.' ".

Or to put it another way... she fell victim to the MAGA cult and it ended up leading her to commit crimes.
