Prices going up, doubling, tripling, means tax revenues double, triple.
I forecasted years ago that the government would want/take back all the "free" money, the unemployment "enhanced" payments, increased minimum wage, etc., that it was handing out.
They are taking advantage of the fact that all the "socialist" consumers out there take pride in spending way beyond their means.
Inflation is for suckers.
It is the way your taxation is increased without "raising taxes".
Keep spending...congress needs more cash to send to ukraine (and increase the value of their stock portfolios).
