I just studied this in history class last year. The guy who shot Roosevelt wasn't a member of any political party. He was a delusional saloon keeper who had a dream where he thought the ghost of William McKinley told him to shoot Roosevelt. Kennedy was a Democrat, which means he wasn't shot by a Democrat. Reagan wasn't shot by a Democrat or Republican. He was shot by a crazy guy who wanted to impress an actress.
