I talked to some military folks the other day. It seems they are destroying morale on purpose.

I thought we respected our military in these parts

"Respect" them in slogans only, but the reality paint a different picture.
Much like everything else a certain contingent claims to stand for but bows out of the way when it comes time to actually take a stand for it.

When a military makes it clear to that demographic that sends their sons and daughters to war that "their kind" is no longer wanted because that military's leadership is more interested in social fads than winning wars one shouldn't be surprised at a lack of respect.
