Funny how the press has said that clarification was essential to note that Obama’s statement was NOT a reference to 57 Islamic states.

Instead, it was a simple mistake, likely due to exhaustion from campaigning. It's like me calling our son by the wrong name, lol. I mean, who doesn't know we have 50 states "except for Obama"?

No, it was a reference to 57 American states, hence why he said there are 57 AMERICAN states.

There are 50 states, and there used to be 7 territories (now 6, after the independence of the Marshall Islands), which, basically, are themselves states. Obviously, Obama erred, he meant 57 (continually inhabited) US states and possessions when there are 56.

I don't know if this is true or not, after all I did hear it from "the media", but supposedly there was a recent poll taken in Gaza about whether or not the people still support Hamas' butchering of 1200 innocent Jews on 10/7/23, and 67% said yes.
