Ah yes, because a single political party with similar economic beliefs to one another is going to be what kills the entire capitalist system, despite millions of self-correcting measures being taken to prevent failure at a level most can’t comprehend. This is what stupidity looks like guys.

Different places are destroyed for different reasons. Some by hostile takeover, some just by new trade routes opening. Most likely NYC would be destroyed by crimes being ignored.

NYC is the economic capital of Planet Earth. As long as there's trade between countries, there will be New York City as its engine.

Didn't work out so well for the Roman empire...

The main downfall of the Roman Empire was a tale as old as time.

The wealthy refused to pay their taxes and used their money to expand their wealth through the laws and the poor were too poor to pay them. Leading to collapsing vital infrastructure such as their cities, water, roads and roads bviously their military because you had to pay for your own equipment meaning a lot of the poor literally couldn’t afford to join the military to serve unless conscripted during emergencies which are no match for willing veterans.

Extra credits covered this quite a lot in the brothers gracchi segment.

😂 where the heck did you get that version of the fall of the Roman Empire? I don’t think I’ve heard a less credible account.

I literally said who.
You didn’t read it at all did you.

I said where did you get that version. Not who, I know who leftists always blame. Regardless it is not correct and ignores the fact that the Roman empire continued for 800 more year's in the east.

You mean the eastern Roman Empire that didn’t even have Rome within its border?

When it was ruled by a dictator and not the republic?

Because the same still applies but also you have non stop succession crisis’ on top of that that plagued the empire most of its history.

Ya the eastern half of the Roman Empire. Collapsed primarily due to Islamic colonization of its traditional recruiting grounds but subbed 200 of years after Rome fell. Rome didn’t fall because the soldiers were too poor to buy equipment. It’s because they became effeminate and refused to fight while the barbarians at the gates gre stronger until they could no longer defend themselves. Corruption played a part but your oversimplified communist portrait is wrong flat out.
1 up, 3mo
Actually no the corruption very much played one of the biggest roles on top of bad treaties going back as far as Justinian who tried to retake Rome rather then consolidating what he already had.

Along with again constant wars of succession over the title of emperor. Not to mention the constant schisms and infighting of Christians.

The Roman’s didn’t fall because they became a bunch of effeminate males who went “OwO what this?” Hell at their peak gay encounters were fairly normal until Christianity became the norm.

And this isn’t the day and age where might makes right like it used to be. Hell Russia tried it and it’s demolished their economy for nothing. Same goes for us and the Middle East.
In fact I’d argue modern trade relations are so intertwined that no country wants all out war with any other nation these days because…well no one wins.

The fall of the Roman Empire was a military event generally accepted as the sacking of Rome by Germanic barbarians. To say that it fell because of the rich people ignores that there were always rich people vying for power throughout the empire. To claim they were too poor to buy arms is ridiculous. They had a very high standard of living comparatively. These are communist talking points and not historical truth. The fact is the sturdy Italian peasants that made up the original legions were tougher and ensured to hardship. The late empire hired soldiers because the Roman and Italian citizens were not fit to fight. That Rome was corrupt is a given just like Washington DC.

Sometime research the history of Pompeii to see what was going on there before Mt. Vesuvius executed judgment.
