I disagree. He's an idiot trying to thread the needle between Israel and Hamas, but I don't think that makes him a war criminal. If you want to talk war criminals, compare him to what the Germans did to the Jews during Hitler's time as leader.

And of course he's a capitalist. So, we'll have to disagree on that being bad, bc capitalism in combination with freedom has fueled America to be the richest country in the history of our planet. It's freed untold numbers from economic hardship through nothing more than hard work and dedication.

Capitalism is a system that allows people (like me) to raise themselves from near destitution to financial security. And it offers the same opportunities to (legal) immigrants, like my wife. She didn't come to America (and she came legally, btw) until she was an adult, and she's got waaay more of the 'can do' American spirit than I see in most Americans. She puts them to shame. They want a hand out from the govt, but all she wants is the opportunity to work hard and succeed.

Bro's never been destitute. I used to be couch surfer Homeless and I've never considered myself destitute. Destitute is my buddy Zeph working at Olive Garden living in their car with a mouth of rotted teeth from not being able to afford a tooth brush.

In my younger days, I was pretty much an Anarchist, except I couldn't wrap my head around them having their own logo.

It would be funny, or maybe if it was your pop pop, you'd feel sad for him, but he's the President of the United States. Call me crazy, but the person in that office should be able to string two sentences together and correctly pronounce words.

I do vote we compromise. I've got so many ideas.

Extreme Limits on Corporations/Rich ppl :
- No People of X amount net worth allowed to lobby or donate to political causes or charities that fund political activities.

-no company is allowed to monopolize over 30% No single person is allowed to control more than 10% of a market

-Income beyond 500k taxed at 50% (so if you have 1mill income, 500k of it is taxed and 250k goes to the government)

-Cost limits on all necessities or minimum wage raised/lowered every year proportionally to necessity costs.

Limits on Tax Spending:
-can't go to any corporations that aren't ran by the government. (They can CONTRACT ppl to make roads ect. But they can't subsidize solar. They can buy solar for all government run buildings.

-Money goes to the people's needs. They get to vote to approve budgets in some capacity.

-ALL Government employees only paid living wage (and maybe their student loans ect.)

Aspects of Socialism:
-Renting Necessities illegal

-If you buy a house, you have to live in it for 5 years before selling it, unless there are extenuating circumstances. (no house flipping)

-All employees paid in Company Shares/Direct

-No scalping :)

Certain things funded by the government:
-Universal basic Income

-Free Government Housing

-Better Food Stamps

-better public transport

-Free Healthcare

NOTE: These are just a list of things I think we could implement now that are cool. Not all of them are going to work (at least at the same time) But I am interested in knowing if you'd like any of these ideas.

Biden tries to lie to hide his racist past, but it doesn't take much digging to expose it. For example, he now claims to have supported the 1954 Supreme Court ruling ( Brown v. Board of Education) that desegregated schools, but he has said that segregating schools would turn schools into racial jungles. He said poor kids are just as smart as white kids.

He was a long time supporter of school segregation, so much so that in the 2020 Democratic presidential race, his opponents, including now Vice President Kamala Harris, used it to attack his position on race.

She famously stated this directly to him in one of the (very early, since she dropped out so early...) debates: "You also worked with them to oppose bussing,"
"You know there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate public schools, and she was bussed to school every day. And that little girl was me."

I like how she not so subtly also took a shot at his advanced age with that comment. Maybe she's not as dumb as she seems to be?

He also hired a bunch of minorities in his own Cabinet.

And he warned people (a diverse croud according to CBS) he thought the GOP would economically/ metaphorically put them "back in chains" as the OP mentioned, if the GOP got elected at the time (2012) instead of Obama.
