30 Year American Vietnam War Veteran Denied Health Services From The VA

“I talked to a veteran yesterday. This man's like 80 some years old. He looked me dead in my eyes, said he didn't think he was gonna make it out his 20s, man. He went to Vietnam three times, got his hip blew apart. They even tried to send him to Iraq. He did over 30 some years in the military. He came back, you know.

He didn't cry about it. He went to work. Got off his ass and went to work. He went to the VA to go get a little help. You know what they told him? You make too much.

This is one of the dudes who he fought in like one of the worst wars that America ever had, three separate occasions.

God has hip blew apart. Now he's 80 some years old and can't even get assistance from the government.

What is his name? What service was he denied? Which VA facility did he go to that denied him this service?

It sounds like he applied for a Non-Service Connected Pension. These are small pensions that are intended for low income Veterans. I wonder shy he isn't receiving Service Connected Compensation for his injured hip. If he took a Medical Retirement he may be not eligible. Hook him up with a local DAV Service Officer. They should be able to sort things out.

It's sad because Christie was Trump before Trump was.

Remember when there were worries about him being a populist and running? Meanwhile, all he did was tell it straight and bap some people on the nose. Although that Bridgegate thing was way too petty. Also him being a little too eager to sign out to team Trump full throttle was a bit off-putting.

Haley, I dunno, although I'd way sooner vote for her than Trump or Biden. I got to check out the other party candidates to see how she compares to them.
