If by "they", that person means the US government, I've got $1,000 saying that Wall Street Bets dummy will be wrong.

Why? Because Biden's statement was proven more or less accurate with the wave of covid deaths that winter..... disproportionately among the unvaccinated.

So even hypothetically there would be no motive for them to deny having made the comment.

No sorry. Those numbers are cooked. They put anyone that wasn't vaccinated (2 weeks after final booster and all previous shots) and those they didn't know the vaccination status in the same column. If they did it the other way, and put anyone that had gotten any of the vaccine shots on one side and only those they know for sure that had no vaccines on the other, we would see the truth.
