One of the first lessons little children used to be taught was-
Animals(including humans) - Inhale oxygen, exhale carbon dioxide.
Plants - Inhales carbon dioxide, exhales oxygen.

I'll bet part of the reason why we are in the 'yellow' is because of the dead or dying trees that can't properly process the cycle. Get rid of the dead and dying tress and replant with fresh healthy trees. A person I know IRL suggested oak trees as a good replacement.

Exactly.

Wildfires serve a purpose...they renew the forest.

When CO2 is low, plant gave a hard time breathing and the earth cools and freezes.

Pre 1800's estimates (I know, I know) had atmospheric CO2 at less than 300 ppm.

Trees are good carbon sinks and lower the surrounding air temperature.

Oaks, any deciduous trees are better than pine and much, much better than no trees.

Emissions aren't the enemy, deforestation is...
and that "How dare they!" Swedish fish.

Old trees do not process as much CO2 as young, growing trees. Another reasson why logging maintains the health of our forests and gives us beautifu wood to build things.

The processing is in the trees keeping the carbon stored in the wood, as well as pumping out oxygen (which, btw, plants themselves utilize at night). By virtue of simply standing, that's how the (bogus) carbon 'issue' is taken care of.

Monocultures are not highly recommended either, as they bring their own additional problems with them.

Sometimes it's better to leave things to do as they've done for ages before humans ever existed and will continue to do so ages after they're gone. Adding bandages to more bandages to fix problems that aren't even problems to begin with by adding more problems to them isn't exactly the best solution.
