Karl Frisch was sworn in to his position on the school board using a pile of controversial books banned in multiple districts. Multiple books, such as "Flamer" and "Gender Queer," include controversial sexual imagery or material that has caused them to be restricted by other school districts.

I have posted illustrated imagery from "Gender Queer" book on imgflip a while back to prove the illustrations are pornographic in nature and inappropriate for children and was given a 2 day ban.
