I just don't care any more. If this had any merit it would have already been in the news cycle. I worked in government PR for decades. It is near impossible to keep information like this "covered up." The reason Fox News exists is news is cheap content for a medium needing content. The competition for content would have made this sellable before now.

Whose narrative? The first conspiracy theories were from folks on the left accusing conservatives in the CIA of malfeasance. One alleged a connection to the GOP, noting a large number of cars from Arizona with Goldwater bumper stickers were in the vicinity of Dealy Plaza that day. Another attempted to tie Nixon's Plumbers who were contractors with Bay of Pigs histories. I made the same, "All roads lead to Oswald," arguments to them. When and if the evidence changes, I will change my mind. Until then I'll follow the facts.

The closet I get to a conspiracy is Jackie arranged the assassination. JFK's womanizing was well known in the DC inner circles and Marilyn 'Happy Birthday Mister President' Monroe was the last straw for Jackie.

I may have seen that. I gave up counting the fresh re-hashes years ago. The Warren Commission files were sealed by the National Archives for 75-years. I remembered that number from when the Commission finished its investigation. I just confirmed 75-years. So, you were misinformed when you were told 50-years. Conspiracies rely on people buying misinformation because it seems plausible. If I didn't know the facts about 75-years I might believe someone who told me 50-years.

The President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 changed that 75 years to 25 years after the passage of the Act (2017).

Two failures probably guaranteed his decision to kill Kennedy. He failed to kill General Walker the John Bircher and failed to get a visa to travel to Cuba. Had he killed Walker, a more thorough investigation probably would have resulted in his arrest or driven him underground. Had he been accepted by Cuba he may not have been in Dallas when JFK was. He was a disaster looking for a place to happen all his life. The stars lined up on November 22, 1963 for his disaster to touch down.

I have made no secret of my 30-year VA employment history. I am not now, nor have I ever been affiliated with the CIA. My conservative Brother, Jim, who passed away in 1985 was a Chinese Language Radio Intercept and Analysis Specialist for NSA while he was in the Air Force. In the early 1970's some folks he introduced as former CIA employees visited him at a home we shared. That is as close as I ever got to the Agency.

I worry every day about violence toward politicians on either side of the Aisle. We should be concerned, in my opinion.

I was at home that Sunday, and like most people we had our TV on. The only things being broadcast were related to the murder of JFK. When Oswald was being transported for a hearing, that was being carried live on TV. I watched it live and rerun dozens of times. Oswald appears to groan as he is shot. But I don't remember him forming words, before or after he was shot.

He would have failed to pass the required Background Check to get into the CIA, based on his psychological profile and related behavioral problems. His multiple run ins with authority figures in his private life and active-duty service in the Marines would have precluded a contract job with the agency. All the known facts, point to a "Lone Assassin," namely Lee Harvey Oswald being the person who shot the President that day. Others may have wanted to do so, for their own reasons. But, he succeeded, because nobody saw him as a credible threat. The protocols surrounding Presidential Security changed because he did.
