how america be protecting themselves from Muslims?
1st amendment exists and it allows every religious people to practice their religion and Muslim Americans exist.
Just so it is known Tribal people of America were prohibited from practicing their religion for decades. Still to this day some states have some of their practices illegal. I think the main thing is don't come to a country and try to change it. Many of generations sacrificed their lives to America for it to turn into what it is today, and the oblivion of individuals not keeping the peace is what is causing the chaos today. If you can't support America than go somewhere else. The freedom of religion is also the freedom to have no religion. Not force religion on to someone.

yeah but islam not allow to force religion. the Quran says that religion is not compulsory.
You have a freedom to read the book and believe in it's teachings but the government has not made the book a part of law, so it's teachings are not ruling America so I hope.
