For every time they raise their pay, they should raise the social security wage for the most vulnerable. Plus they also need a law that says those working in government can't pull on social security while in office. It's ridiculous how most of the over 65 in office are receiving two paychecks, but yet allow the elderly to live off peanuts. Some trying to survive on less than 1000 dollars a month. That's total bs.

You are not wrong. This is why it takes an outsider -- like Trump -- to motivate average citizens into making their elected 'representatives' do their actual job or face losing that lifetime sinecure position. Not that it would necessarily work even at that.
