I am glad that I have never checked out TierZoo's videos, and this isn't the only example of leftists believing/spreading inaccurate zoology. Did you know that spotted hyenas are not so much matriarchal as matrilineal, and that contrary to popular belief, male hyenas are not always below females? Males who stay in their clans (which does happen) inherit their mom's status, and there are even hyena clans in the wild that are led by males rather than females.

Yeah i knew that. Glad to find someone who agrees with me. Misinformation is a danger to society and science.

Tierzoo????

Idk what that is.

Meanwhile IF I get a source at all from the right it is often a Tweet or a YouTube 🙄

Tierzoo is a youtuber who analysies animals and ranks them on tier lists. Despite how biased he is and the amount of errors he makes in his videos, leftists have made him popular in science communities and used him as a source despite many of his videos being innacurate and the fact that youtubers ate not sources.

"Meanwhile IF I get a source at all from the right it is often a Tweet or a YouTube "

Thats just a minority. And the left has been shown to do it more.

If you're not trolling, I don't know how that relates to politics... ¿ Are lefties claiming trickle down economics doesn't work because some allegedly biased Zoologist on youtube claims a Baboon ranks higher than a Chimp? 😜

What are they using dude as a source for??

I mostly engage with people on the right here so idk which side does it more.

Besides YouTube and Twitter another method I've seen the right use a couple times is citing an archived article.... usually an article where the publisher found out that something they published was bullsh*t and either updated / altered it to make it correct, or took it down entirely ...but someone had already saved the original (false) version somewhere else online.

For example a while back the right was ranting about why did Joe Biden choose Brittney Griner over Paul Whelan... the reason was because Biden wasn't given a choice. It was either her or nobody. Anyway there were people here who disagreed and they cited some archived article that fell into that category.

Am talking about "scientific" liberals and how they spread misinformation and bias. They literally ruined science:

You atereotype an entire group because of a small minority within it. And you keep denying that the left has done wrong too.
1 up, 7mo
Never said it always happens from all right wingers.... I said it often does.

I also have not denied that people on the left have "done wrong".... I said "I mostly engage with people on the right so idk who does it more."

You seem to be seeing things that werent said... or you're just straw-manning me. Idk.

Neanderorcs?

1)Wrong orcs
2)I never meant that they where LITERALLY orcs. I meant that they where hyper aggressive, territorial and heavily hunting focused. Like the Warcraft orcs, hence the comparison.

And righties get it from Hollywood movies and the main stream media.

Nope, conservatives get it by reading articles online and making a conclusion based on the info they got.

Lefties get it from watching CNN, the Guardian or random youtubers like Tierzoo, Kurzgezagt or Breadtubers and believing everything they say without questioning them at all. They clearly have no idea that youtubers and left wing biased news networks are not sources.

The truth is Modda I am neither left or right. I am in between as I have both conservative and liberal views. However, in recent times I am siding with conservatives after seeing how liberals have ruined science and the internet. Combined with how they encourage hiveminding and anti religious hatred online.

There's two reasons - TWO - for the so-called Conservative Movement. One is equality/civil rights regading race, women, and LGBT, and the other is science. The Scopes Monkey Trial gave conservatism a big BIG boost.
As you've amply seen, they've been consistently anti-science, which includes the web. Conservatism is, by definition, about allegiance and conformity and, yes, anti progress, and is exceedingly monolithic in what it believes our common culture should be, down to religion, which, as we know, is Protestantism.

Conservatives are anti science"

Not all, also many libs are anti science or whant to bend it to their will.

"Conservatism is, by definition, about allegiance and conformity and, yes, anti progress, and is exceedingly monolithic in what it believes our common culture should be, down to religion, which, as we know, is Protestantism."

False, conservatism is about conserving traditional values. What values it whants to conserve dependa on the political party and individual. So no its not all "anti progrres" (and for the record many libs Re anti progress, evident by how they whant to shut down research on IQ because they deem it "racist").

Such utter nonsense.
Skopes Monkey Trial. Look it up.
It practically birthed the Conservative movement, and was the root cause for Christian Fundamentalism.
Conservatism is anti-science. Period. Ask the Amish.
0 ups, 7mo
Being conservative or christian is not being anti sicence. Silencing freedom of speech, encouraging hiveminding and believing everything random people tell you IS anti-science.

Okay, you are right that leftists get their info from pretty dubious sources.

Righties are more disconcerting. Usually. But with Israel many turn into leftist emotional propagandists right away.

That's what I mean.

And wdym with "leftist emotional propagandist"? Ive seen that many liberals, despite being aware of the terrorist attacks, decide to side with Palestine.
