In a way, yeah. Although the Senate wasn't around quite yet, they were all in the Continental Congress and/or Constitutional Convention at some point- tho things that all had some decorum within. To my knowledge, nobody wore flannel nighties or work shirts there.

But seriously, that was the fault of two things. The state party, doing really nothing to boost turnout, and the fact that Trump was NOT on the ballot. Trump turns out rural and blue-collar voters. Oz didn't, even if Trump endorsed him.

I blame Trump for this one. He publicly endorsed Oz. There should be a law in which an elected politician from another state or district cannot publicly endorse a candidate from another state or district. A president can't endorse anyone at all.
