It was declared eradicated in 1980 because of vaccination efforts. Almost like people got tired of denying the efficacy of the vaccine and now we don't need to vaccinate for it anymore. :) Funny how that works huh?

I can't quantify or verify your claims and I can't take you at your word when there's data comprehensive data that suggests otherwise. If you're focusing on the people you know, you should play the lottery as the rate of people who suffer such complications is exceedingly low.

I agree a very highly effective vaccine, also just to let you know it wasn't injected into the skin, it was lanced into the skin causing a wound that healed and left the scar. Kids didn't scream or cry because it didn't hurt. What did hurt was the healing process of the site. It's one thing to have a highly effective shot once in your life, it's another when companies say you need 2 shots a year. The flu shot is worse enough and useless if they predict the wrong strain. I agree vaccinations are important, I just personally think they shouldn't be forced on people and children if they have low efficacy.

For the number of COVID boosters, this could've been avoided if people had all vaccinated. But they didn't. Think of your immune system as a program. Boosters are updates.They hold new information for your body to recognize the new strains as a threat. It is not the fault of the pharmacy that manufactures the vaccines, that the virus mutates. This is the fault of irresponsible individuals in the larger community who choose to deny them and don't take safety precautions to avoid catching or spreading it because they believe it to be a hoax.

If greed and politics weren't a factor and the medical industry could have been trusted, along with the pharmaceutical companies, we wouldn't have this mess. The moment the politics entered the doctors office every thing went to hell. I have a great doctor I trust and between me and my doctor I decided with my doctor which vaccines are best for me in accordance to my health and the health of my kids, but I don't allow the government to persuade the decision I make between myself and the doctor, and if my doctor has any doubts and uncertainty about the efficacy or side effects of a vaccination they always outweigh them with the risk vs benefits. But still to be allowing unapproved vaccinations into individuals with no prescription product information with statistics is like allowing pharmicutical companies the ability to get away without being liable for damages. People died from covid who were vaccinated. Along with the people who weren't. I guess it's just a rotten deal, but one can't simply blame another for not getting vaccinated and then blame the unvaccinated for mutations. That like blaming pollen for causing allergies, or blaming the school for giving a child strep throat. There is nobody to blame. But to be on gard and see the money wasted and divvied out in the trillions to businesses and airlines and nonprofits, families and nonprofits was unreal. 4 of July in 2020 was so epic I watched a family with 4 little kids blow 3,000 dollars on fireworks that year from stimulus checks and child tax credit payments. Reflection on what happened makes me sick. But I'm not going to allow a politician to decide what my doctor thinks is best for my health and the health of my family.
