Well, no. A lot of Jim Crow laws were in largely then-Democrat areas. Namely the southern, former Confederate states.

Where the meme is wrong is while the states have shifted in party preference, those same states and a few surrounding others are still perfectly willing to utilize state laws to discriminate against minorities.

Yet, I can’t think of a single state Democrat law in the last 10 years targets minorities.

Which, of course, where it falls apart.

What they’re actually furious about is segregation on a corporate level and affirmative action. Which absolutely should be addressed! But their way of going about it is to repeal policies and discontinue institutions that made it impossible for those states to continue passing Jim Crow-like laws.

Which is completely antithetical.

NYC schools are segregating the classes based on skin color.

And is that through legislation or preference?

If it’s by the latter, I addressed this.

Do you want to legislate desegregation in NYC?

Do you want the government to tell you where your kid goes to school?

CRT, Jim Crow, college admission quotas, segregation, it is all about the color of your skin and not the content of your character. Leftists use race, sex, etc. to declare some grave threat so they can take more power and spend more money. Leftists exploit back communities. They care nothing about their welfare.
