I just watched the Steve Martin movie, The Jerk, last night. I haven't seen it in years. It is a comedy classic.
There is a scene after Navin R. Johnson (Steve Martin's character), gets rich and he is speaking with city planners and real estate agents while walking through the backyard of the house he is considering.
They keep explaining to him about how they are keeping blacks out of the neighborhood. Navin just isn't understanding what they are implying until one of them says, "You know, to keep the [N words] out." Navin angrily replies, "Sir! I am an [N word]!", and then he beats them all up.
Your meme makes me imagine a similar scene with the New York City planners saying, "You know, to keep the [insert derogatory word for Hispanics here] out."
Actually I am very surprised that Netflix would allow that movie to be on their platform because it has the N word in it. Shouldn't that get that movie cancelled even if it anti-racist in that scene?
