California is seeing a mass exodus and the only place that has weather than is remotely like California is Florida and Texas. Those two states are filling up with California ex-pats. But they are not the only states. They're fleeing to Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, New Mexico and after that Texas and pretty much the rest of the South.

Tennessee. Seen tons of them coming here, painting their new red brick homes white to emulate the stucco house they had back in Cali.

LOL.... I grew up in California. I learned to hate stucco. Fortunately my parents house was a craftsman style house. All wood siding, no stucco.

Lower taxes, affordable housing, small-business-friendly, lower crime, fewer crazy laws & regulations, fried chicken, iced tea, respect for family and faith, & nice weather. California has nice weather & great food too, but working-class folks can't afford to live there; taxes, regulations, & crime are out of control. Progressive policies are why people are moving South. Prove me wrong.

I live in Wilmington, NC. There are so many people moving here from NY & CA that there is a housing shortage. They are building houses and condos as fast as they can but still can't keep up.
