What I find ridiculous is the home builders being funded by state governments to build houses that nobody could afford unless they make 50 dollars a hour, and to top it off raise the value of property in the area raising the taxes, and then sit empty. Great business model. I could have purchased a house 30 years ago for 32,000 bucks but now that's the price of a car. To be frank every thing is unattainable for someone trying to work the non degree jobs. The only thing left is to join the army and get a free ride.

I don’t have a landlord. Instead of pissing my money away on rent, I bought a house.

What utter shitty arrogance. Assuming people are lazy, don't take responsibility for their actions, don't get a job and irresponsible blow their money on luxuries. You don't know that landlords try to jack up rent and do what are called reno-victions. You seem to be unaware that basic necessities like rent, electricity, gas ,etc are getting more expensive all the time and properties are getting more expensive therefore between the rising costs of living and the rising cost of housing, a down payment for a house is out of the question. It is very hypocritical of you to pretend to be compassionate towards people who have had their lives and freedom destroyed by government but when they are suffering from private sector factors that are beyond their control you act like an uncompassionate asshole and arrogantly assume people bought $800 iphones and Starbucks coffee. It just goes to show you only pretend to be compassionate to the suffering when it suits your partisan agenda. I believe in addressing issues that affect people's freedom and well-being regardless of partisan politics and regardless whether it's government or private sector factors and addressing such issues is not a right or left partisan issue.

You're the one with zero understanding of how the world works because you don't realize not everyone can get extremely lucky with lots of wealth and you don't realize that the cost of living in general gets more expensive.

I got “lucky” whenever I worked my ass off.
Try that instead of making poor choices and even poorer excuses.

Now, this is interesting…you said
“you don't realize that the cost of living in general gets more expensive.”

The hell I don’t. First, genius, I have to pay more on property taxes… that’s a biggie that has risen dramatically in the last two years.
And, of course, insurance on my properties have risen exponentially.
Now, here’s the real kick in the ass… I wasn’t able to collect rent for almost two years, thanks to Fauci’s virus and our inept government’s restrictions. I spent a fortune getting the dead beats evicted, didn’t get a dime in back rent, and then had to spend another fortune repairing the damage done to the properties. The deposits didn’t even cover a fraction of the damages to walls, plumbing fixtures, and stolen appliances.
So, take your communist proletariat bullshit somewhere else, komrade. I was and still am part of the “working class”…I just got smart.

Yup, I know a pensioner who had moved to a retirement home community a cpl of yrs ago. If someone got to be that age - especially from the times he came from when houses were amazingly cheap compared to today - and couldn't afford his own house by then, then he has no one to blame but himself.

You don't even know what time you got where you're at?

Of course I do.
You didn’t ask me the time, you asked if I got the time. And I do. All the time in the world…

You really don't know what "What time you got there?" means?

I laughed at merryprankster's comment about getting flagged for the slightest offense. He's always flagging me! (He'll probably delete his comment now)

You are a literal person. I have to be careful how I reply, because you tend to flag for the slightest “offense”.

Oh, and why are you so worked up over this?
