Yeah, many leftists today like to compare Republicans to the nazis just for not wanting lgbtq sex ed books in public schools and not wanting children in drag queen shows but the very people who fought the nazis in WW2 are likely to fully agree with the Republicans on their gay sex ed book bans and also would absolutely be sickened of the very idea of a boy in a dress. Your grandpa who fought the nazis in WW2 was most likely even more conservative than today's moderate liberal or even the moderate republican.
