Many on the left seem to be unaware or ignorant of what they are doing, which is the vilification of a segment of the population on the basis of inherited characteristics. While this has historically grown through "casual racism", in recent years we've seen this type of attitude become more extreme and it has even become systematized within institutions. The direction we're headed in is scary. It's as if people didn't learn the lessons of Rwanda.
