DeSantis Twitter Launch: It's A Trainwreck!

It certainly was!

Consider though, the old saying about there being no such thing as bad publicity. People are still talking about the launch a full day after i's over. Plus, people who might not even know about him running are hearing about it, and that wouldn't be the case if it had gone smoothly. Neither of those would have happened if he had just done a town hall on FOX.

One could legitimately argue that it didn't make him look very good, but I think he has plausible deniability in being able to blame the technical issues on Elon and Twitter.

The only real, permanent damage, imo, would have been if something had happened or came out that fundamentally changed the way people view him, and imo this did not rise to that level.

So, does the bad outweigh the (arguably) good that came from this mess? Hard to say.

Yes They ARE!

I guess we'll just have to see if the debacle has any longer term negative effects. I tend to think not, and even the primaries are quite a ways off. His republican challengers likely will try to bring it up to make him look bad, but like I said, I think he can blame Elon, and your meme seems to indicate that is possible as well. 🍿

Oh, yeah, that's possible! 😀

This story ran the day BEFORE the DeSantis launch:

Elon Musk says his days are ‘long and complicated’ splitting time between SpaceX, Tesla and Twitter
Tue, May 23 2023
https://www.cnbc.com/2023/05/23/elon-musk-splits-time-across-spacex-tesla-and-twitter-heres-how.html

At the Wall Street Journal CEO Council Summit on Tuesday, Elon Musk talked about how he splits his time across SpaceX, Tesla and Twitter.

“Switching context is quite painful,” Musk said.

Musk said he manages most of his own schedule since it would be hard for an assistant to determine what his priorities should be.

The next pandemic ‘even deadlier’ than COVID is coming, warns WHO
May 23, 2023
https://nypost.com/2023/05/23/pandemic-even-deadlier-than-covid-is-coming-warns-who/

The head of the World Health Organization warned that the world must prepare for the next pandemic, which could be “even deadlier” than the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a meeting of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday, director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus sounded an alarm that the COVID-19 pandemic is far from over.

How they can they know this unless they created it?

Mr Science, in a classified document found in Joey B's garage, reported that he had created SARS CoV-3 through gain of function research - again in collaboration with the Chinese.

The "improved" virus attaches to the "vaccine" in the body to kill the host by triggering autoimmune disease.

It keeps coming at you till you give out.

On the bright side - another round of crazy unemployment compensation and fatter big TV checks!

You may have made it up, but your question at the front is spot on, imo. They created covid 19, so they would absolutely know if there are potentially more deadly viruses that could also escape from a shoddily run Chinese lab.

The question is "Who made what up and when?"

Coronavirus: Bill Gates predicted pandemic in 2015
Microsoft co-founder warned a virus like 1918 Spanish flu would spread “very quickly”
March 25, 2020
https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/03/25/coronavirus-bill-gates-predicted-pandemic-in-2015/

But Bill Gates warned five years ago that it was coming. In a TED talk in 2015, the Microsoft co-founder and billionaire philanthropist cited lessons learned from Western Africa’s 2014 Ebola virus crisis, and said the U.S. and other countries were not prepared for the future pandemic that was going to hit them.

“If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, it’s most likely to be a highly infectious virus rather than a war,” Gates said. “Not missiles, but microbes.”

Gosh, how could they KNOW the plandemic was coming?

The people are living too long and reproducing much less. Few supporting the many makes the social security pyramid scheme fail.

How do you get rid of the non productive humans?

Prescription drugs? Manufacture health debilitating edible products? Design a microbe that targets the elderly and infirm?

Clubbing them in the head like baby seals would be too overt. Might get some push back on that one.

Re: "the same assholes would fall for it"

Reminds me of a meme from 3 years ago, that I found right here on Imgflip. This is the source of the meme shown in this comment:

This is the comment I made at that time:

Hi Alison375

Did you know that your meme...

I wondered about that, too.

Alison375 made two similar "sheeple" memes. The one shown in my previous comment now has 10,221 views. The other one now has 28,740 views. The first one got NO upvotes! The second only THREE upvotes! Both of them must have gotten their views off site.

Perhaps the lack of upvotes convinced him that there's no intelligent life here so he moved on??

I found the Captain Kirk meme shown in this comment on:

It was part of a larger meme, but you can see the Imgfip watermark on it. No link to the original, though.

Another "Where are they now?" user is:

Abby_Normal
imgflip.com/user/Abby_Normal

I've followed him for years, but now he hasn't posted/commented in months. I hope he's OK.
I commented on one of his comments here:

When life is just too much to bear
imgflip.com/i/7e98n4#com25515463

No response to that thus far. Is Abby just taking a break? Or is he just fed up with the timeouts, the mods or the libtard trolls?

Does anybody know what's become of Abby_Normal?
3 ups, 2y
Abby was my very first buddy on here, from my first comment, gave me a ration of shit for not up voting him, and then we became good pals. Full agreement on all the total tools that operate here, I'm SURE I don't have to mention any names. Big part of the reason he'd only comment here, and post on real politics. He was the one that put me on to that stream. He did change his "handle" for about a week, maybe a year ago, but now he's been conspicuous by his absence for a couple months.
Sure wouldn't be the first talented memer to abandon this place because of the proliferation of jag offs.
Oh, and yeah, Target Blows. I will never spend one dime there.

Should we be alarmed about a cluster of recent cases in close geographic proximity in Michigan of always fatal Creuttzfeldt-Jacob Disease (CJD), aka Mad Cow Disease?

No mention in msm.
