Yeah Octavia, they sort of are. And imo, this is a very good example of how liberals believe they're doing something good, something that will help a person, but in practicality they are, in most cases doing way more harm and damage than good.
Now if you want to get down to nit picking over the way I used the word "force", I would maybe backpedal a bit by saying that when you're dealing with children and (objectively) at a minimum coercing them into doing something that you know they may want to do but in reality are far, far too young and immature to do, then that's about as close as it gets to forcing, even if we don't want to use that word. They're minor's for God's sake!
I won't bore either of us by rattling off the dozens of other things liberals would say kids are not mature enough to do, but almost all of them are far less significant, and certainly less permanently life altering than changing one's sex.
So as usual, liberals can't see the forest for the trees. There's no consistency in how they feel children should be treated and protected from one issue to the next, and it's all based on politics, which is the last thing that should be taken into account when it comes to protecting our children.
