It was an incoming call.
I looked to see who was calling and was shocked to see that it was me!
I was like, “What does that a-hole want?”
As usual, it was a robocall hiding behind caller ID.
I have also received calls from people saying they missed a call from my phone even though I didn’t call them and don’t even know them. I wish the people doing this stuff would drop dead.

sometimes scammers use real numbers. i've called them back and got some poor dude who had no f**king clue who i was. i basically had to be like, "my bad."

Yes, they call it spoofing, I believe.
It’s annoying as hell. When someone called me saying they missed a call from me, when I told them it was some creep hiding behind my number, he wasn’t surprised.
My phone carrier at home tries to match the actual call with the number showing up, if they think it’s BS, it says “possible SPAM” on the ID.

I just answer with "Thank you for calling Scott's taco vendor and funeral home, where yesterday's grief is today's beef, what can I get for ya today?"

I answer with “Welcome to Luigi’s Pizzeria and Abortion clinic, where yesterday’s loss is today’s sauce. May I take your order?”

I keep getting calls from Ohio… I live in Utah, I don't get why people are calling me from Ohio…

Just kidding. It's probably because the person who had your phone number before was from Ohio, & people don't know the person has it changed so they still call it.
