I had limited space. I do know what the word means. I suggest that people consider again what happened on Jan 26, and view what these active elected officials did in Tenn. And also consider the enormous bias and contempt biden has for Republicans and Conservatives. No more comments from me on this, because I can neither teach you nor change you

Protesting government inaction after the hundredth mass shooting from this year alone.

Vs.

Trying to overturn the results of a democratic election.

Logical people wonder to themselves, shouldn't insurrection be insurrection, regardless of the reason?

Typical communist logic: justify insurrection in one instance, condemn it in the other.

It all depends on what suits the left's political needs at the time.

The leftists would be more than happy to throw the Tennessee 3 to the wolves, if it suited their needs at the time.

Insurrection is a politically neutral term. If the January Sixers were just normal well adjusted people who were angry with the government for any number of legitimate reasons, I’d have no problem with them or the acts they committed.

But they weren’t well-adjusted people, and now we know beyond a shadow of a doubt from the mountains of evidence gathered in Fox News’s Dominion lawsuit that they were sold on a lie.

See, context matters.

Trump would have thrown them a cheeseburger if they had said nice things about his tan.

Do...do you...do you know what insurrection means?

Honestly.

Do you know what it means?

And how a protest, even a sit in one, is radically different?

Because based on what you've made here...you don't.

If you consider what happened on Jan 6 an insurrection, I have the exact same statement for you. Everyone needs to stop throwing that word around for protests they don't like.

IKR? they didn't do shit for the BLM riots. But it's "peaceful protest"

I agree that people need to stop using the word insurrection for protests they don't like.

However.

January 6th was an insurrection.

They physically broke into the capital building.

They were there to stop the certification of Biden as President and install Trump instead.

The Tennessee crowd shouted at Republicans and used bullhorns to shout at them. (not once trying to physically remove them from their offices and install their own)

Tell him what insurrection means. Tell all of us. It may prove helpful to people
