Here's the thing about facts: they don't require your belief.
Here's the agreement Trump signed with the Taliban: https://www.state.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Agreement-For-Bringing-Peace-to-Afghanistan-02.29.20.pdf
I don't expect that you'll read that document but here's the key part: it sets the terms for a U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan by May 1, 2021.
That was Trump's timeline.
Being President means that you're often bound by the agreements of your predecessors. You have to carry them out so other countries will feel secure in dealing with the US. They have to know that the agreements they sign will be carried out despite the regular change in leadership.
Biden said May was unreachable and pushed it back to September.
Trump even bragged about starting the process in June 26, 2021.
Your boi set an impossible goal and didn't have a plan to get everything out. We know that because 1) the same people were at the pentagon and would have said 'we can do this, here's the plan' (remember, only the highest leadership changes. All the staff remain the same). and 2) Trump for sure would have bragged about the details of his plan and how he would have done it.
But he's never done that.
Does it seem likely to you that Trump would fail to brag about something he'd had a plan for? Does he seem like that kind of guy?
And Biden agreed that the US needed to get out of Afghanistan. Why would he not use a plan that would work? Even pushing back the date, why not use the same "amazing plan"?
