I remember when the left kept trying to cozy up to the Soviet Union back when Reagan was president. Now they try to blame their own collusion with Russia on Trump and the conservatives.

If you want to know what the left is really up do, look at what they are trying to blame on us. They'll never take responsibility for they bad actions.

Dude!! Were you even alive in the 80's. I was and I was adult all through the 80's. I wasn't politically minded back then but even with not paying much attention to politics and the news, I saw how the left sided with the Soviet Union over the US all the time. PBS produced specials to try to equate Soviets as people just like Americans. Of course they left out the part about how generational slavery to the state changes people from abhoring authoritarianism to embracing it.

I know you probably haven't made it this far into my comment and you're just going to accuse me of lying AGAIN. But just in case you can control your short attention span long enough, then please enjoy reading the rest of my comments below.

The pinnacle happened when Reagan announced the Strategic Defense Initiative. The left ridiculed and lampooned it to death. They called it Star Wars. But in the end that is what ended the cold war. Oh, sure the left has spun it all out of shape to say that Reagan had nothing to so with ending the Cold War. The left are masters of lying through their teeth in order to save face and the have the media to help them every step of the way.

Look at how much the left is spinning to cover themselves now that one of their biggest lies in recent years fell apart when Kevin McCarthy released the Capitol building security footage from Jan 6th. The left is going out of their minds trying to hang on to the lie of an insurrection and more importantly that their lie was exposed as such.

If the SDI existed it made the USSR's entire arsenal of nukes became irrelevant and the USSR became completely vulnerable to the US. The USSR had to come up with their own and real quick. They put tons and tons of money on it and they collapsed their own economy and government.

It was another colossal failure for the left. All of their ridicule fell flat. They did not understand Reagan's bluff and actually played right into his hands. By ridiculing it they gave credence to it's existence.

They left HATED Reagan because he showed beyond reason of a doubt that Democrat policies cause economic turmoil but Republican (specifically conservative) policies cause the economy to soar. Everyone benefits, especially the poor form a great economy.

LOL... They want to ignore Bernie's trip to Russia...

I'll bet they are trying to ignore how all of the Hollywood left, Sean Penn, Danny Glover et. al. fawned over Hugo Chavez and all of the "great" things he did to Venezuela.

The left went through this in the late 1920's. They had been trying to tell us that Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini were the men of the future. In a about 1928 the New York Times (who had been suppressing this previously) printed an article about the atrocities of Lenin and Stalin. The left was gobsmacked. It was the 1st of many more gut punched they inflicted on themselves trying to promote Marxism.

They were never 'anti-war'. They would've torn the country apart in the 1960's if they thought they could pull it off.
