To be fair, some people post stuff that they find funny even if they know it's not true. But other people post stuff which is false but they claim it's actually true, and even when you call them out on it they refuse to admit that it's not true

This was one of our early interactions. This was at the beginning of the vaccine roll-out, and you posted a meme claiming that the vaccines caused pregnant women to have miscarriages.

I said prove it.

You posted a link to a website "article" that had that as the headline. It even linked to a study showing the rate of miscarriage after vaccinations.

I read the article. I read the study they linked to. Then went and looked up the rate of miscarriage prior to the pandemic. And found that it was slightly higher than those women who had been vaccinated.

I provided links. I showed you the math. I proved that you were wrong.

And here's why I remember it.

You replied that you didn't care. You only read & shared the headline because it made the democrats look bad.

Honestly, I was surprised that anyone in Politics was that self-aware of what they were doing. You knew it was misleading at best and a lie at worst, and you didn't care. You shared it because it would make another group of Americans you didn't like look bad. All to make it easier for your personal group to gain political power.

And every time I see one of your posts, you prove it again and again.

So, we could stop here. 44 year olds are not "youths." But we're not going to.

This claim about the 118,000 deaths to the vaccine in 2021 and 2022. it doesn't seperate the deaths by vaccinated and unvaccinated. It lumps all deaths outside of a 'normal range' into the VACCINES CAUSED THIS pool.

It also assumes that the vaccine was immediately available. It assumes that every single person was 1) immediately eligible and 2) immediately got it.

And then like died.

But we know that's not what happened. The vaccine rolled out slowly. It rolled out by age groups. During the Delta strain, which was deadlier than earlier strains and legitimately did hit the 20-30s group harder than others. And to this day, not everyone is full vaccinated. It would be impossible to see an immediate decline in deaths.

The correlation is broad and vague. From a site that is clearly biased because it puts "alleged" in front of anything referencing the pandemic.

Covid is real. It kills people. I know people who got covid. I knew people who died from it.

A meaningful correlation of data would be to compare the states with the highest rate of vaccination against the states with the lowest vaccination rate.

If the vaccine kills, then the states with the high vaccination rates should have higher deaths. If it's covid killing people, then the states with the lowest vaccination rates will have the higher deaths.

This may shock you, but the states with high vaccination rates had lower excess deaths than states with low vaccination rates.

THAT is meaningful data correlation.

That's got a specific number and a specific date.
