Conservatives only believe what they are told to believe.
2 ups, 1y
Or they get called "RINOs" or "Liberals"

Which there's nothing wrong with being a Neocon and you'd say there's nothing wrong with being a Liberal

Both parties have members that believe what they are told. Look at the amount of people who believe everything CNN or Fox News. Both Left and Right have problems.

The Daily Wire? Ben Shapiro is a critic of the alt right, but he's still right wing, despite people labelling him as a "neocon"

He is still a jerk. And again he objected to Kanye getting banned on Twitter despite Kanye being an anti semite.

So he defended Kanye from getting banned on twitter? That's interesting, there's no way a critic of the alt-right would defend the alt-right

Ben Shabibo the hypocrite. He appears to not understand the difference between "freedom of speech" and "freedom of consequences".

Okay, prove it. List some conservative views you hold.

I'm only asking because I've met so many fakes on this site...

Everybody has a bias. That's just a fact.

Also you already used those two... try again.

I believe people have the right to own guns, but they need a liscence for it. I believe that all religions must be respected. I support capitalism.

Not everyone has a bias.Thats your opinion. And those who do need to learn that everything has limits and and that they need to respect other people's opinions.

The Daily Wire with Ben Shabibo

Okay, I can see how that can be considered conservative though I'd disagree- do you need a license to have free speech?).
That one is debatable, depending on what your meaning is, because usually when they say that they're virtue signalling in support of Islam.
Nice.

Actually, everyone does. It might not be extreme, but everyone has one. If you have political beliefs, you have a bias. You might be able to work around it, but the fact is that it's there.

No. I respect other people, certainly- everyone needs to be treated with dignity and respect, but that doesn't' mean we should respect everyone's opinions. For example, should we respect the opinion of someone who says that we should kill Jews?

Wow so funny I forgot to laugh.

I dont know. Ive seen many cons worshipping Ben Shapiro despite him being an awful debater and being obsessed with "the left".

Ben Shapiro is a Right Winger but he's a critic of the alt right
1 up, 1y
That still does not change the fact that he is an awful debater and is obsessed with "the left". He at one point started a debate wirh a BBC news reporter who just wanted an interview and got recked. He also made some nonsencical claims on climate change saying that "if there is a flood people couod just sell their houses". He also objected to Kanye getting banned on Twitter despite him being a neo-nazi and having a hatred towards jewish people: https://www.jewishpress.com/news/us-news/ben-shapiro-objects-to-twitters-banning-of-kanye-west-he-didnt-incite-violence/2022/12/04/

Nope. Its all facts. Ben is obsessed with the left. No doubt he always blames everything on the left, accuses his opponents of being leftists on debates, and finds any excuse to talk about the left.
2 ups, 1y,

Not just Ben Shapiro is obsessed with the left, pretty much all the radical rightists are obsessed with the left every time they haven't thought of a brand new conspiracy, lol
2 ups, 1y
Yeah, that explains why the call "RINOs" any conservative who disagrees with their beliefs.

Argument from ignorance/burden of proof.

Argument from facts and truth. Ben sucks at debating and is obsessed with the left. He is so easily triggered and his channel is nothing but pure right wing propaganda. Like am conservative but Ben just takes things too far.
0 ups, 1y
You don't know what I just said. Go look it up.

Subjective.

He talks about the left because he's a political commentator, genius.

Easily triggered, huh?

Oh, boy...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79fZxoTMDJ4

How exactly does he "take things too far"? I try to keep an open mind, but you've just made claims with no evidence or reasoning.

The assessment that Ben Shapiro is an "awful debater." That's just an opinion.

Also, we don't "worship" him.
1 up, 1y,

Ben fanboys literally worship him:
https://youtu.be/fwd6KVmKGr8

And its a fact. Ben Shapiro only knows how to debate teenagers but when confronted by people in their 30s or 40s he loses.

He at one point started a beef with a BBC reporter who just wanted an interview and got recked by him. He also made some nonsencial claims on climate change:

https://youtu.be/0-w-pdqwiBw

https://youtu.be/RLqXkYrdmjY

He also objected to Kanye getting banned from Twitter despite Kanye being an anti semite neo nazi:

https://www.jewishpress.com/news/us-news/ben-shapiro-objects-to-twitters-banning-of-kanye-west-he-didnt-incite-violence/2022/12/04/

He also is obsessed with "the left", blames everything on "liberals" and even started a fight with Steven Crowder. He also claimed that rap "wasnt music".
0 ups, 1y,
1 reply
Oh, they LITERALLY do?

Yeah, consuming someone's media and "worship" are two very different things. I'm sure you consume some ridiculous left-wing channel (Vox, perhaps?) but I wouldn't say you worship it.

Subjective

Subjective

That's his choice. He probably had his reasons for doing so. Like support for free speech. Also, I don't know much about this case, but I think it might be similar to the Steve King case, where, though he was against this particular person being immediately banned, (cancelled if you will), but as he learned more about it supported his censure from the GOP (As I support it).

Why wouldn't a political commentator talk about people on the opposite side as him? That makes absolutely no sense.
1 up, 1y,
2 replies
But why would you consume a media that is super biased? And many conservatives appesr to worship Ben Shababy as they treat him as a god despite his flaws. And btw am conservative, I just wanted to call you out for your bias.

And it appears you dont understand the difference between freedom of speech and freedom of consequences. Kanye is a confirmed neo nazi and anti-semite. He deserved his banned. Yet Ben Shabibo defended him for no reason. And no, Ben has no regretted defending him.

And am not saying you cannot talk about people on the other said. But NOT talkikg about peopñe on youe side just makes you biased. Not to mention Ben Shabibo keeps blaming everything on "the left" to an obsessive level.
0 ups, 1y
No, actually he does not.

More ad hominem

How? Everybody DOES have a bias.
They may not be aware of it, but they do.

Kanye isn't great. But have you read WHY Ben is defending him? And, he's saying he shouldn't have been banned, not defending his National Socialist-like positions.

You can't seem to make up your mind. Does he not talk about right wingers or does he constantly complain?

What?
0 ups, 1y,
1 reply
Because I KNOW hi bias, and he doesn't pretend to be unbiased.

That's like calling me out for being alive. We all have a bias.

Freedom of consequences... isn't really a thing. So I don't know where you're getting that from. And ironically, that article you posted even tells you why, but you just copy+pasted it without even reading it, so...

He does talk about right-wingers. If you actually listened to his show (instead of just Googling hit piece). The last part is entirely subjective and not nearly true.
1 up, 1y
Bruh Ben acts like he is some sort of unbiased smart expert when he clearly is biased AND clueless.

Your comparing apples with oranges. Not everyone has biases. And having a bias does not excuse you from being a jerk, a lier and hold tribalistic behaviours.

Freedom of consequences refers to a type of mentality where people (specially political parties) use "freedom of speech" to get away with expressing ideas without limitations regarding morality. Literally a neo nazi with anti semite views and who wants to kill jews shoudnt be allowed on Twitter. Yet Ben decided to defend him. Freedom if speech is not an excuse to be a vile person.

He rarely talks about right wingers. And in most cases he complains about right wingers for either disagreeing with him or because he perceives them as "traitors" to GOP (even though they arent).

The past part is true and a fact, unlike 99% of what Ben Shabibo says.
