"He did it when he signed that Infrastructure Bill that didn't do anything for infrastructure."

^Fake news.^

Billions of dollars will go and is already going into infrastructure.

If you want a specific example: Terminal E at Boston Logan International Airport.

The Boston Logan International Airport received $62 million from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act this year for renovations. It's one of 85 airports across the country that received a grant from President Biden's infrastructure law's Airport Terminal Program, which will award nearly $1 billion annually for five years.

A majority of the funds will be used to modernize the airport's Terminal E, which has become a source of congestion and flight delays due to prolonged taxi times and idling of aircraft, as well as inefficient passenger processing. The renovations will expand the terminal's capacity, replace the HVAC system, expand the baggage claim area to accommodate gate expansions and rehabilitate the existing ticket counter area, gates and jet bridges.

The funds will also go toward improvements to the roadways that airplanes use to circulate the airport.
(CNN)

The Massachusetts Port Authority, aka Massport, even thanked Biden for the funding in September.

So no money for bridges then? Also why is this money going to private companies and not to actual infrastructure the government is supposed to fix?

As I said, some of the money in that specific project will be going to bridges...
Jet bridges.

Not Jeff Bridges...
Not deft pigeons...
Jet bridges.
:)

Almost every single airport in America is owned by the government, used by society, and is therefore infrastructure..... not a private company.

Don't you remember the famous "Acme products Build Back Better" speech given straight from the White House?

The Boston Logan Airport or Port Authority or whoever is in charge of the funds distributed from the Infrastructure Act directed at rebuilding that airport in Boston (the example I covered in response to someone else here).....They will be able to hire whoever they want. If they want to hire "ACME" then that is on them.

Are those the same clowns that were in charge of the Big Dig? Doesn't matter, I don't trust anything out of Massachusetts or Boston, except for the beans and the band.

For those not familiar "The Big Dig was the most expensive highway project in the United States, and was plagued by cost overruns, delays, leaks, design flaws, charges of poor execution and use of substandard materials, criminal arrests, and the death of one motorist."

The Boston Logan Airport was just one example out of however many thousands of projects there will be. Not sure who they will hire but if they hire con artists, inept contractors, or people otherwise unqualified to do the job, that's on them. Seems like it'd be a stretch to try to stick that on Biden.... (unless he had some sort of backdoor deal /no bid contract agreements with the people in question.)

Apparently the "Big Dig" contractors and project managers had to pay out hundreds of millions of dollars for their shoddy work. I would be pretty surprised if they were hired again.
