Nah... Democrats / Americans in general are just plain tired of all the shootings... I mean it's cool that the concealed carry permit guy killed the robber in that story. It's a shame that the clerk was killed by the robber. That is just 1 story. Here are a few others just from this past weekend out of Chicago:
•Saturday, a man got shot in the neck. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was dropped off about 9 p.m. at Holy Cross Hospital where he died.
•Early Sunday a man was fatally shot in the back. Police officers in the 2200 block of West Walnut Street heard gunshots about 2:40 a.m and saw someone fire at a man, then get into a gray car and drive off.
•A man was shot to death Sunday afternoon in Archer Heights on the Southwest Side. The man, 29, was shot in his arms about 4:15 p.m. in the 4800 block of South Tripp Avenue.
•Sunday night, a man was fatally shot while driving. The 49 yr old was traveling west about 10:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Fulton Avenue when people in two cars opened fire. He crashed into a bus stop and died.
• 2 hours later there was a drive by shooting on the west side that killed someone else.
•Two men (19 & 22) were wounded standing in the 2300 block of South Damen Avenue.
•A 12 yr old girl was shot in the neck while walking in the 8900 block of South Chicago Avenue when someone in a dark car fired at her.
•17 yr old boy was shot Saturday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. The teen was walking in the 5300 block of West Harrison Street when he was approached by someone who fired shots at about 6:30 p.m.
•15 yr old boy was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening in the 4900 block of South Indiana Avenue. He was shot in his right leg about 6 p.m., police said.
16+ other people got wounded in Chicago between 5 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
