Yeah . . . but not even a liberal state would allow that to happen.  They won't freely give up a tax source . . . or control of the same.

Awesome move - not just voting with your feet, but taking the land with you! I hope it comes to fruition. There are some in northern California who want to do the same thing.

Yep and sponsor real reporting to ferret out what's actually happening in regards to their state's leftist government.  That would really irritate the hell out of them.

Weld County in northern Colorado wants to do the same - become part of Wyoming. If that happens I'm so moving - I'll still be close enough to commute to the job that I hate and close enough to see my three grown children that I love. I'll just be in a state that had enough brains to throw out Liz Cheney!
