If he broke the law, he deserves to be arrested. F**k him.

So what if he was arrested in front of his wife and kids. Don't break the law and you won't have to worry about that happening.

And he wasn't arrested for "peacefully protesting", he was arrested for physically assaulting a clinic worker. Assaulting someone is against the law, even if you're okay with conservatives assaulting people.

Fascism. etymology fascii latin for bundle of sticks. A political ideology that is primarily based on Marxism and socialism but unlike Marxism and socialism it does not completely take away private property rights by allowing business owners to keep running their businesses even if the government controls everything about the business. Fascism has only been practiced in the early to mid 20th century in Italy. Never anywhere else, although Nazism patterned itself similar to fascism.

Look upon by socialists, communists as being right winged ONLY because it gave a little leeway to business. It is just another variation of socialism much like the type of democratic socialism Bernie Sanders promises when he points to Scandinavia was an example but in reality will look more like Venezuela.

Fortunately for liberals, they put, by their extreme hatred of Trump, a class A moron as president. Biden is 100% committed to the World Economic Forum's Great Reset. Biden even used the WEF's Great Reset slogan as his campaign slogan, "Build Back Better". The great reset is the plan to end capitalism by collapsing the world's economy and "build back" a global fascist regime.

Nearly everyone on the left will be cheering the end of capitalism without even knowing they are digging their own grave. Capitalism is a word invented by Karl Marx to use as target in which he could launch an assault on. What it really is is free market economics or the hated "trickle down economics". And you cannot have a free market without freedom. Individual freedom. Individual freedom is the mortal enemy of all forms of socialism.

The WEF's plan is global fascism. They are fascists because the are pushing the Great Reset with the help of the largest financial companies, the big tech companies, and the media.

Socialism that works with businesses who will support them, while destroying the rest is fascism.

Socialism that destroys all businesses and replaces them with their own government agencies is communism.

Socialism that destroys Jewish owned businesses, while making exceptions for other businesses who support the regime is Nazism.

Socialism that kicks the company presidents or CEO's out and puts their own guys in is just socialism.

"Fascism. etymology fascii latin for bundle of sticks. A political ideology that is primarily based on Marxism and socialism"

Fascism is a far right ideology which is directly opposed to Marxism and socialism

"Nearly everyone on the left will be cheering the end of capitalism without even knowing they are digging their own grave"

Lots of people on the left support capitalism

"Capitalism is a word invented by Karl Marx"

Marx did not invent the word capitalism

"Socialism that works with businesses who will support them, while destroying the rest is fascism"

Fascism is not a form of socialism

"Socialism that destroys Jewish owned businesses, while making exceptions for other businesses who support the regime is Nazism"

Nazism is not a form of socialism

Conservative can mean a lot of different things. To conserve is to hold on to something that is going away. A conservationist is one who is trying to stop the wilderness from disappearing.

To revive something from the past is not conservative, that is resurrecting or reviving.

According to Thomas Hobbes a conservative of his time is someone who thinks the worst of mankind and believes they must be controlled by a strong centralized government. John Locke defined a liberal is one believes that mankind is basically good and does not need to be controlled. They have no use for a strong centralized government. The word liberal is based on the same root as liberty. It is someone who seeks individual freedom.

Those two definitions got reversed. Today's liberals are Marxists, either knowingly or unknowingly. Marxism has so infiltrated our culture that even many conservatives believe those ideas are American based.

The American ideal that our founding fathers left for us was that we were free to live our lives however we wanted. The 13th and 14th amendments extended that freedom to all people born in the United States.

Mussolini may have wanted to restart Rome but it would a Rome that was controlled by his form of socialism. Mussolini was a big fan of Marx. He considered Marx "the greatest of all theorists of Socialism." Because Mussolini supported WWI and the Italian socialists did not they kicked him out. It was then that Mussolini became involved with Italians fascism. Just about every historian today feels compelled to remind everyone that fascism is right-wing. It is called right-wing fascism by just about everyone. Yet they will mention socialism and communism without any indication of it being right or left. The problem is that fascism was derived from socialism and Marxism and combined with syndicalism. If it is to be considered right-wing it is based on Thomas Hobbes definition of conservatism, and it is also that Stalin, trying to insult Mussolini, called fascism right-wing. It may be to the right of Stalin but not by much. It certainly is not far right. You have to go to the extreme left and then take a half a step to the right and that is where fascism fits.

Conservatives in the US aren't trying to resurrect Mussolini or Hitler. They want nothing to do with any of that. They want to conserve the ideas of liberty that this nation was built on. The ideas that the left is destroying.
1 up, 2y
"Today's liberals are Marxists, either knowingly or unknowingly"

Some are, some aren't. It's absurd to paint all liberals as Marxists

"Just about every historian today feels compelled to remind everyone that fascism is right-wing"

Because so many conservatives want to say that it's not, and they are wrong.

"You have to go to the extreme left and then take a half a step to the right and that is where fascism fits"

100% bullshit. Far left ideology is not ultranationalistic like fascism is.

"Conservatives in the US aren't trying to resurrect Mussolini or Hitler. They want nothing to do with any of that"

Some definitely do

Conservationalism is now the realm of modern Democrats as Republicans now want to put oil rigs and run pipelines under formerly protected lands that Republicans once fiercely defended. Including from the plundering of natural resources which might support your argument of liberalism and conservatism flipping but what it actually indicates is a switching of philosophies in Republican and Democrat policies.

What your argument forgets is Locke was also a conservative of his time as well and he was fiercely against totalitarianism, which is why he advocated for a more liberal viewpoint in individual freedom in a conservative context (an idea lost on modern Republicans). Modern liberalism has it’s roots in conservatism in the form of progressivism which began in conservative conservationalism. Even Locke acknowledged a concerning drift toward totalitarianism (fascism, essentially) if conservatives of his time pursued the thought that a conservative government must protect traditions of the people at all cost.

I can kind of understand why Marxism would be thought to have an American origin given Marx modeled his form of socialism on a thoroughly democratic rule. A rule proven to demonstrably flawed without a form of centralized government, which he tried to include in his proposal. His idea being the government’s role is to both to serve and to protect the people. An understandable and reasonable goal given his dissatisfaction with imperial Russia. Where he gets it wrong is that when you give government more power to protect the people, it gives the people less power and inevitably leads to a dictatorship. The US’s version of government is suppose to be one of self-government; the government’s role is protecting the people from authority (or rather from the government itself). The reason the bill of rights have persisted as long as they have as they are not laws to govern the people but rather the government itself. The further amendments introduced that follow this pattern remain just a relevant.

It is not the governments role to protect ideas. It is the people’s. And if the US government facilitates any public demand to protect or even standardize a set of ideas, culture, or religion, then this goes against the very fundamental foundation over which our government was founded. And is overall antithetical to conservatism and is more akin to fascism regardless of models by prior or current relevant governments or countries.

"As a registered Republican, my generalization is quite fair concerning the three things they’re running these mid-terms are more abortion and lgbtq restrictions, 2020 election was fraudulent, and Trump’s my buddy."

I really don't know what you are talking about when you talk about lgbtq restrictions. The ONLY thing I know about was when Florida said parental rights trump Democrats. Democrats are on a mission to sexualize K through 12 kids. They have no right to force their ideology on anyone, let alone force it on small children. That is obscene. The parents have complete and total rights over what their children learn, see and hear. If a parent wants their Kindergartner to meet a trangendered person then they can introduce their child themselves. I think it is borderline child abuse because of the way some transgendered people dress. It could frighten a child enough to leave emotional scars. Not all children but some. And that is not right. But that is my opinion. If my state legislature proposed a bill that would prevent parents from exposing their children to transgendered people who dress to the extreme I would support it. Specifically because no child should be subjected to that.

Other than that I don't know why any state or city would pass any laws against the lgbtq people. How would they enforce it? Would they install cameras in people's homes? I don't even think Democrats are that authoritarian.... yet.

I think the 2012, 2016 and 2020 elections had a lot of fraud in them and you probably can go back much further. The worst was 2020. I know that there was perhaps the worse smear campaign against Trump than any other president, at least in my lifetime. I never saw such rabid hatred towards any other president. So if the Democrats ran a potato for president every Democrat in the country would have voted for that potato (and Biden is the closest president we have ever had to a potato). No one voted FOR Biden, they voted AGAINST Trump. In addition there is ample evidence of voter fraud. You just have to look.

Trump's not my buddy. He may be better than Obama and Biden but after what Obama did this country we needed Ted Cruz, not Trump. But I don't think even Cruz could have righted the wrongs committed by Obama and also Bush, Clinton and Bush Sr. A president can only do so much. Legislating by executive order and executive action is wrong and must be stopped.

"Never said all Republicans are conservative. Especially those who support Donald Trump. In fact, I believe the most liberal ideology is today’s Republican Party who’ve passed far more legislation restricting individuals than Democrats at this time."

You won't ever see me with a "Vote for Trump" sign in my yard. I tolerated him. That being said, the one thing that Trump has going for him is he didn't sell his soul to the World Economic Forum. That makes him 1 million times better than Biden. Biden is fully committed to the great reset. That is why we are seeing very high inflation and it will only get worse. The WEF's goal is to collapse the world's economies and end capitalism.

"The problem with pipelines is they tend to bust. Especially the longer they are. And if they burst and ruin protected federal lands, that negates the entire purpose of making the public conservations, and not eligible for private purchase."

I agree that the longer they are the more prone to problems but the only problems we are seeing with oil pipelines happen with pipelines that are over 50 years old, not long pipelines. I saw a map of all of the pipelines currently crossing this nation. It was produced by Chevron, and not some socialistic environmental group. You would be shocked if you saw that map, especially on the east coast. There are pipelines everywhere. If leaks were such a problem you would be hearing about them all the time.

"As a registered Republican, my generalization is quite fair concerning the three things they’re running these mid-terms are more abortion and lgbtq restrictions, 2020 election was fraudulent, and Trump’s my buddy."

"Fascism is not just gun control with the eventual ambition of a full gun ban or arresting registered gun paneers."

I never said fascism is about gun control. It is when a socialist government allows and works with private industries who are fully committed to that government.

Democrats will eventually take guns away or make it impossible to afford one. It is inevitable.

Abortion is murder, plain and simple. If you are for individual rights and freedom then those right must extend to all human life. People like to rationalize it away but it is human life that starts when the fertilized egg begins to divide. Any other explanation of when life begins is not based on facts. If you don't want to get a woman pregnant then take responsibility for your own actions.

Not all conservatives are Republicans and not all Republicans are conservatives. Many of the Republicans voters are conservative but there is too much apathy in all political parties to label those people anything other than by what party they are registered in.

The demand for oil is increasing which why there is need for more pipelines. There is a lot of negativity about putting pipelines in but I don't really see what the problem is. They can leak but the pipelines that have had leaks are old. If they are properly maintained then the leaks would be minimal. Also oil is a naturally occurring substance. If it spills it will be absorbed into the ground where it came from. It might take several years but nature will take care of it.

I didn't know Locke was a conservative. There is a lot I don't know about Locke or Hobbes. I am just going by what I remember from my Political Science class when I was in college. Apparently you know more about him and probably Thomas Hobbes than I do.

"(an idea lost on modern Republicans)" This is my biggest complaint about Libertarians. You guys got a whole lot of things right. When it comes to freedom and economics you're spot on. But your (the generic your, not the specific your) arrogance is your downfall. You look at Republicans much like the Democrats do. You think they are all carbon copies of each other. And some are. But you would be surprised at how many Republicans there are out there who would score Libertarian in the Marshall Fritz test if they knew about that test.

Then again, I have met Libertarians who were 100% Republican. They thought, spoke and voted just like a hard core Republican.

"Where he gets it wrong is that when you give government more power to protect the people, it gives the people less power and inevitably leads to a dictatorship."

I have been saying that for years. You just cannot take that much power away from the people and not expect tyranny.

"The US’s version of government is suppose to be one of self-government; the government’s role is protecting the people from authority (or rather from the government itself)."

You are preaching to the choir. The reason why the Constitution starts with "We The People" is because it is written FROM the people TO the government.

Fascism is exactly where we are heading and it is the Democrats who are leading that charge through their commitment to the WEF and the Great Reset.

Never said all Republicans are conservative. Especially those who support Donald Trump. In fact, I believe the most liberal ideology is today’s Republican Party who’ve passed far more legislation restricting individuals than Democrats at this time.

The problem with pipelines is they tend to bust. Especially the longer they are. And if they burst and ruin protected federal lands, that negates the entire purpose of making the public conservations, and not eligible for private purchase.

My criticism towards Republicans extends mostly toward the politicians and almost all new the new regime running this mid-term are essentially Trump acolytes. True, there are a handful to mention but they are either lame ducks or labeled as RINOs.

As a registered Republican, my generalization is quite fair concerning the three things they’re running these mid-terms are more abortion and lgbtq restrictions, 2020 election was fraudulent, and Trump’s my buddy. Addressing no serious issues other than immigration and inflation with no clear solutions to these problems other than maybe making it harder for people to register for citizenship and tax breaks for the elites. Neither of which are real solutions.

Fascism is not just gun control with the eventual ambition of a full gun ban or arresting registered gun paneers (neither of which I believe Democrats are truly capable of) but when we abandon our principles of what costs the individuals freedom. Namely restrictions on any medical procedures (abortion/trans), and further speech of individuals within their job (teachers, journalists).

Which fascists would support.
