That’s disconcerting. Don’t trust anyone with WEF ties. They must be watched closely

Do...do you know that she's a self-described fascist and founded the new Italian fascist party, the Brotherhood of Italy?

Do you find this speech fascism?

"We want to defend the value of the human being. Every single human being, because each of us has a unique genetic code that is unrepeatable. And like it or not, that is sacred. We will defend it. We will defend God, country and family… Because we will never be slaves and simple consumers at the mercy of financial speculators."
Giorgia Meloni

I find a profoundly liberal (classic liberalism) and conservative speech.

As a political doctrine, fascism in almost all its variants was collectivist and statist, which was expressed in Benito Mussolini's famous maxim “Everything within the State. Nothing outside the State”, which surprised no one in Italy, since he had begun his political career in the Socialist Party.

Are there elements of collectivism in Fascism?

Yes. Of course.

It's a governing political philosophy. Which means that any governing philosophy by necessity has elements of collectivism. Well, except anarchy. But that's anarchy for you. Any government is formed to serve the people. It's just a question of which people Fascism serves.

Because Fascism also loves extreme militaristic nationalism. It loves to demand sacrifice to the father/mother land. It's contemptuous of civil liberties, often using "traditional values" as a cudgel to beat down minorities. It also uses those same minorities as threats to the state, excusing more violence and demanding even more adherence to traditional values.

So... is Fascism liberal? No. Not even classically liberal with it's love of using religion to enforce social hierarchies, regulation, and militarism.

Is it conservative? Hell, yeah, it is. With the latest move to more extreme right, American Republicans are almost 1:1 on fascist political ideology. Especially with their contempt for the democratic process.

Every gerrymandered district. Every voter purge. Every cry of "voter fraud" even before an election has been held puts them one step closer.

And there aren't but a few steps left.

The traditional government is not adapted to regulate active law as long as it is not truly democratic.

Active ideologies have no future.

- basic imperialism, like roman, babylonian, (now USA), etc.
- cults like islamism and catholic inquisition empire
- socialism with all variants including fascism and neonazism.
- a mix of all for world domination --> globalism

All of the above is motivated by arrogance, desire and ambition.

The basic laws of society, "do not steal, do not kill, do not lie, etc." which also comes from the various religions. Basically all to regulate the impediment on everything that should not be done, leaving an enormous open field of possibilities on what could be done, as long as those things are not done.

If only the functional is left of this, roman law appears, and what we know today as the rule of law, which is the result of classical liberalism. What forges the constitutional systems that we understand by free countries, although they do not really become so.

The alternative right-wing political movements are closely linked to this defensive idea against totalitarianism, being the main rejection of the aspirations of world domination (against all globalist), and they also try to lead society to participate in political decisions, to hold more referendums.

This is because the conflict that arises with the liberal paradigm, which creates the politics division between right and left, can only be satisfactorily overcome with democracy. And the closest thing to democracy that we know is when politicians connect with the concerns of the people and they decide through a referendum.

Any form of active ideology is doomed to fail because it is incompatible with any form of traditional government, in which the citizen is not the one who decides and controls the situation.

We know that you call everyone who disagrees with you a fascist, so it has no meaning.

No. For example, I disagree with Rep. Cheney. But she's not a fascist.

There are many conservatives and Republicans that I disagree with on policy. Like George Conway. He's a conservative. But I've never called him a fascist.

I just call the fascists what they are.

Lol, Liz Cheney and George Conway? Bwahahaha please. Funny those were the best examples you could come up with. One who has been rejected by her constituents and the other part of the Lincoln project. Like a said everyone who isn’t on your side is a fascist. That’s ok, it means nothing anymore when the left is the side banning words and compelling speech and actually supporting Ukrainian Nazis.

it's not funny, Bluessol. It's a deliberate choice.

Her electoral status and his employer don't change what they stand for politically. They're still conservatives. I don't agree with what they'd have enacted as policies.

But they're not fascists.

Because in the fight against fascism, there are only two sides. There's no neutral ground. Either you're against them, or you're giving them space to exist.

Which means you're pretty okay with what they have to say.

And the Left isn't banning words. You're free to say whatever it is you like. You just have to be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Also, as you're clearly unaware, one of the requirements of US aid is that it cannot go to supporting any of the Azov and other neo-nazi militias. And, yes, I realize that aid will still end up in their hands. It's not a perfect world, Bluessol, and we're not exempt from helping because of that imperfection.

Maybe if you guys didn’t label everyone fascists it would have meaning but a leftist calling someone a fascist just means they don’t like them or what they have to say and that’s hilarious🤣. Makes me think they must be doing something right:

I highly recommend reading How Fascism Works: https://www.amazon.com/How-Fascism-Works-Politics-Them-ebook/dp/B0796DNSVZ.

Of course, you can get it for free at your local library. Unless that's too much collectivism for you and you gotta go live free or whatever and buy it.

If I want to know how Fascism works all I have to do is follow the Democratic Party in 2022.

I have no reason to believe your sources are selling anything but propaganda. I know how fascism works. Like all totalitarianism, fascism is nit one side of the coin no better or worse than communism. Both go against American values. If you counted people murdered under their auspices, Communism wins hands down. Americans hate both but what you call fascism is anyone who doesn’t buy into the glorious revolution you promote. Your labels mean nothing.
