This is the most anti-American administration we've ever had and that's saying a lot because Woodrow Wilson absolutely hated the Constitution. FDR locked thousands of innocent Americans based solely on their ancestry. Obama was raised on Communism and tried to take control of the means of production, tried to create a spy-on-your-neighbor website 3 times and sign the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 which included provisions to indefinitely detain any American citizen without they're 4th and 5th Amendment rights just on the grounds of being suspected of being a terrorist. And then redefined what terrorism meant.

But Biden is the 1st president I know of who was illegally installed as president to work specifically for China, Russia, the WEF, the UN and the IMF and NOT the United States of America. You think our economic problems are caused by accident???? They're by design.

As (I think it was) Economist Ludwig Von Mises once said, "Inflation is a policy". Meaning it can only happen because of the actions of the government.

"Obama...tried to take control of the means of production"

No he didn't

"and sign the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 which included provisions to indefinitely detain any American citizen without they're 4th and 5th Amendment rights just on the grounds of being suspected of being a terrorist. And then redefined what terrorism meant"

Like the PATRIOT ACT?

"But Biden is the 1st president I know of who was illegally installed as president"

He wasn't. He was elected in a free and fair election. You just don't like that he won, so you're saying he stole the election. Get over it.

"No he didn't"

Yes he did

"Like the PATRIOT ACT?"

Nope, like how loberals are trying to redefine "hate speech" to silence opinions they do not want to hear because it "offends" them.

"He wasn't. He was elected in a free and fair election. You just don't like that he won, so you're saying he stole the election. Get over it."

The voting was still very biased. The only reason people voted for Biden was because they hated Trump. If they simply let their hatred towards Trump go away and awknowledge that he is not aa bad as how they make him out to be Biden would have lost. So yeah the election was stolen.

And yet liberty hasn't been destroyed

"How?"

Your anti-gun memes and those obnoxious "gun-control" laws?

"When?"

You use the Guardian as your source, a new network known for complaining over movies and tv shows for not being "diverse" enough.

"When did I do that?"

You and the other dems complaining over people not using the correct pronouns.

"When did I do that, either?"

Anti-Trump memes? Anti MAGA memes? Claiming that MAGA is a cult? Blaming America's problems on MAGA? Do I need to go on?
2 ups, 2y
"Your literally restricting people from using guns"

How?

"forcing LGBTQ into everything"

When?

"forcing people to use the "correct" pronouns" "

When did I do that?

"and attacking people for liking Trump"

When did I do that, either?

I hear a lot of complaining, but I don't see any action. Unless you count complaining as action.

I'd fall back on the "this is 'murica, you don't like it then you can git out" line, but I got tired of hearing it during the last administration.

I was warning, not complaining. I'm trying to get it through the left's thick heads that their leaders are about to make live very hard for us. Great Depression hard with the only difference that the Great Depression finally ended when FDR sent a lot of American's to die in Europe and the Pacific.

And this is NOT America. This it is 180° the opposite direction of the vision of our founding fathers. America wasn't set up to self destruct. We were not created to allow foreign organizations dictate our policies. Fascism is NOT American.

This is going to need action from every American. One thing that can put an end to a lot of this is supporting the Convention of the States movement. Their main goal is to pass a constitutional amendment that will require that congress balance the budget. They are 7 states away from making that a reality. If that happens then there will be no inflation, no food shortages, no Great Reset. America begins to be America again. Ya know..... Freedom, liberty and inalienable rights and all.

That sounds reasonable, and I have to acknowledge and commend the level-headedness of your delivery. I must confess to knowing nothing about the Convention of the States, as I've made it a point to ignore news for the past...jeez, 20 years now. Mostly because the partisanship makes discerning fact from fabrication too problematic, and objective discourse about what's supposedly going on all but impossible. Besides that it's depressing and disempowering. There's so much to address that it's imperative to pick our battles with care. I choose to address overpopulation, and my contribution is to die childless.

You and people like you are the only hope the US has of mending fences enough to galvanize the masses into affecting substantive positive change. I take my hat off to you sir. 🫡

You might not feel the same way when you see the absurd, sweeping lies he makes about "all democrats" or "all liberals"

I admit to having few data points off which to go, and to taking what is said at face value. No idea how well it correlates to actual sentiment held or action taken, but I'm a sucker for civility.

Above all else what I'm drawn to is logical consistency in thought and deed. Hypocrisy is anathema to me. In principle I have more respect for a pious insurgent than a well-intended defender who uses the same methods they decry in the other person. (I'm still disposed to condemn the insurgent, but I'll at least respect the authenticity of their being.)

Not that this is particularly relevant but I take it as a foregone conclusion that humanity is on an inexorable path to its doom, and any measures taken to reverse this course merely incrementally delay the inevitable. I still act with what I consider to be virtue because I believe the point of existence is the journey rather than the destination, but to me there is no "saving" us. I've also grown to accept that this is not a bad thing. Suffering is tough to reconcile, especially for people with empathy. But death isn't so bad--it's the dying part I can't stand.

Nice little lying you got there. True I made a minor spelling mistake but am still right.

And here is the updated version: *You whine about Trump supposedly lying while you listen to liers yourself.

You really think the picture of a random girl will be enough to ridicule me? you must be living in a fantasy world, preaching to anyone who responds to me without fact checking their claims.

The only times I do that is when I'm exaggerating on purpose. I generally avoid doing that.
0 ups, 2y
And what's the point of "exaggerating on purpose". And if you supposedly try to avoid that then how come your meme history and comment history say otherwise? Literally 99% of your political memes are basically "Trump bwad, MAGA bwad".

Thanks.

I went through most of the Obama administration with anger in my heart. I wasn't angry or mean to anyone but I just had this anger because he was destroying our country. Then about a year before his term was up I stopped watching the news and listening to talk radio. That helped a whole lot. Even though I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 when he was elected and not Hillary all of that anger dissipated. Now that Biden is president and he is worse than Obama, I decided not to let him ruin my life.

I still believe the way I do but I mostly try to avoid getting angry.

You're right, this country has become divided and I believe it was intentional. There are foreign forces behind this division. I just want to wake as many people as I can to not only that division but what America was founded to be and not what our politicians are turning us into.

I felt similarly about the Bush Jr. administration. Blamed it for spoiling my 20's, until I realized all we see are symptoms and not the illness causing them. The illness is...I don't know, a feedback loop between the shxt we output and the shxt we consume? Maybe it's a feature and not a bug. Either way, things are getting increasingly awful. As much as I detested Dubya, I definitely would have been happy to have him back after Trump took office.

Increasing polarization leads to increasingly extreme political stances, resulting in increased polarization. Sure social media is riddled with bots, but their effect is like alcohol. It's just bringing latent impulses to the surface. If the resulting division does us in, it was always our destiny to tear ourselves apart. This is just speeding things along.

Don't we now have a SCOTUS that will do their job?
[deleted]
0 ups, 2y
I hope so. Our bicameral system was set up so that if one of the branches went rogue the other two would shut them down. But we have two branches that have gone rogue. In theory because two branches have the power to shut down one, the Executive and Legislative branch my overrule the Judicial branch.

I hope SCOTUS will overrule the New World Order the Democrats have pushed on us.
