The extent of my knowledge about the show is that Richard Thomas was on it, and he was also in the movie It

He does voiceover stuff on the Waltons too, like the episodes are from his journals about growing up. It was like Little House on the Prairie pure Americana goodness, only a little less doe-eyed, and more recent, Depression-era. Back when tv was still beautiful.

He's been in a bunch of stuff. Last I saw was in The Americans, where he played an FBI boss who ⚠️ SPOILER ALERT ⚠️ got killed unexpectedly and too soon. A defo "dafuq?" moment.

I meant the Walmart founding family, though. Aren’t they billionaires too?

It's most definitely worth watching. Although I reckon maybe growing up on it helps feeling it as thoroughly as one should.

Actually I had a sibling that watched it, and that was enough to dissuade me, because when she recommends it, I know to avoid it.
One time, however, I did wander in while it was on and caught a glimpse of one of those Olsen twins and subsequently ran out of the living room, shrieking in horror, I was that terrified. Since then, I made an effort never to make that mistake again.

I did, however, manage to catch Jodie Sweetin when she hosted Pants-Off Dance-Off on Fuse. Turns out she was pretty cool, and maybe it would have been worth watching Full House but then again she was younger and probably would annoyed me too, thus souring my Pants-Off Dance-Off viewing experience all those years later.
