1. In the title, who is "Pete"?
2. Why did you use an image of a nuclear plant when you're talking about coal fired plants?

Google search Coal Electric Plant and see the Wiki Results of coal burning. That's the image result basically.

Thanks for that! Who says that IMGFLIP isn't educational. My mistake is that I thought that cooling towers were only used for nuclear plants. Went to the site that you indicated and, yes Virginia, coal plants also use cooling towers.
