A fellow conservative? I don't even know what that means.
It's a word. A silly word. A phony word. A word that people who aren't use to pretend that makes them part of something.
Where I grew up, nearly everyone had parents born in other countries, if they weren't themselves. English was a second language. THOSE folks had what could be called conservative values, but for real. Not this posturing by in-name-onlies whose conservatism is closer to 60s Hippies than it is to people from 'the old country.'
Look up "the Moral Majority" for laughs, and find out why they disappeared. Basically the scene imploded when its leaders and judgemental big mouths got caught in New Orleans no-tell motels with hookers, complete with Polaroids (the selfies of the day) to get printed in newspapers. That was Reagan's base, and we all know what a phony he was too.
There are no Conservatives, just people looking for a label to attach to themselves because they lack a sense of self worth and a definable identity.
