To stick with what we've been talking about.... waiting periods.... That seems like an incredibly small theoretical sliver of any potential benefit for criminals.
I mean how many people do you think actually get robbed or have murder attempts on their lives.... while also happening to still be on a 10 day waiting list to buy a gun..... which they also intend to carry around with them....and I guess it would also theoretically have to be their first gun that they intend to carry around
.. (Otherwise they would already have one)..
So ya idk. The possibility of it helping criminals seems much less probable than the flipside........ Preventing a drunk, hot head, or would-be criminal from being able to immediately go out and buy a gun and shoot someone before they sober up... Or calm down... Or change their mind in general.
Idk.... that seems more likely to me but maybe I'm wrong.
