Just ask yourself why all the hippie communes from the 60’s & 70’s didn’t flourish and multiply.

Here's a marxist's response to this (Leninist)
1. The french would disagree with you.
2.This is a common misconception of communism. In a communist society, everyone is paid based off of their abilities, needs, and amount of labor. In every economic system, the worker shall have to work for the fruits of their labor. In a capitalist society, you do not enjoy the sweat of your brow.
3. There is no ethical and/or fair way to become a billionaire, all american billionaires are indeed, not self-made, and did NOT work hard to get where they are.
4. Wealth is redistributed in a socialist society, not ''divided''.
5. This is not communism.

But i speak the truth. Musk's father owned a emerald mine in Africa. Bill gates's mother was on the board of IBM, and Jeff Bezos started amazon with 300K. Being born into riches does not make you self-made.

You've got one potentially legitimate example out of 3, but there are 614 billionaires in America, not to mention 2700 globally.

How much they started with has no bearing on the ethics or fairness employed to convert that money into billionaire status, and unless they started at half a billion dollars or something like that, you have no basis to claim they didn't work hard to get to billionaire.

But I'm betting your definition of ethics and fairness states that there is nothing ethical or fair about them having that much money in the first place.

''But I'm betting your definition of ethics and fairness states that there is nothing ethical or fair about them having that much money in the first place'' Yeah, kinda.
Anyways, being born into a rich family is a crapshoot, i dont know what you mean.

Nope, you're right. It's not theft, it's "protection racket" extortion, since people are under threat of going to jail if they don't pay it.
