According to the Scriptures, our very nature is that of a sinner- committing an actual sin is not required, though it is inevitable.
I have no reason to believe that murdered babies, born or unborn, do not go to Heaven, but that still remains the providence of God.
We presume to think we know what transpires in the minds, and more importantly, the souls, of the unborn. We do not.
And none of this matters. The Word of God is also clear on the following:
*No single baby is conceived apart from the intervention of God- He "opens and closes the womb".
*God is intimately involved in the formation of this new life. Psalm 139
*All human beings are created by God in His image.
*God calls the killing of human life, murder.
*No one is sinless, and all require a Savior. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me." There is no other way, including being murdered, before you can commit a *visible* sin.
Given God's sovereignty over every atom in this universe, He may well create only those who will be/would be redeemed by the blood of Christ that He knows will be murdered before they can intentionally make that choice. God also accounts for those, both unborn and born, who are not mentally capable of making right choices.
The more we know His Word, the more in this life makes sense. And there is no way of redeeming abortion, regardless of how we sinners try to justify it based on need, or concern, or want.
I had a sister-in-law (no divorced from my brother) who found out she had cancer while pregnant. She chose to take the risk of postponing treatment, which almost certainly would have killed her baby, until after she gave birth. Both are alive today. If she had decided to get treated, and her baby had died, this would not have been the same as the murder of abortion. Such instances are morally acceptable, though she decided to take the better of two roads when it comes to the kind of love that leads to true sacrifice.
That any mother would instead choose to have someone kill her baby has led to an accepted morality which has resulted in a clear deterioration of Western Society. When God said that we will reap what we sow, this wasn't meant as a "maybe".
