I am very happy with my congresswoman. She does an excellent job, and when she's visiting with my state rep who I also like a lot they both hang out in very accessible events and they both make time to listen to my questions and discuss things with me one to one.

I had voted for her the 1st time, but she said a few things that bothered me so the 2nd I voted for Green, I believe, even though she was still going to win. So I feel weird cuz of that, then again how better to let her know my grievances than a forum like that?
Plus not like I get these from others in office, so good of her to create this opportunity for her constituency to have a voice.

It's ok to disagree with your politicians. The whole thing is a compromising process. But it's basically an office management job at the end of the day and they can't take your input into their decisions if you don't give them any.

My State Rep is awesome - I attended a school walkout with students protesting lack of gun reform. Cop showed up to try to shut the whole thing down and arrest kids who weren't in school, but you know what? My State Rep was with us, and had a few words with the officer about a couple of Amendments the officer wasn't familiar with.
