yes, they're part of the invertebrates category, can't say insects because that only applies to centipedes, I cant say arachnids because that only applies to spiders, and can't say 6 legged creatures because that only applies to scorpions. so since theres nothing else in common with these 3 specific species we revert back to the common term for these unique individuals as invertebrates (you may applaud now)
