Well I wouldn't necessarily say he tried to help one group over the other. That's my problem with the left. There's nothing wrong with helping black people (I'm mostly black myself) but if you try to help blacks at the expense of everyone else, and then use the past to justify inequality while preaching that you're pushing for equality, I ain't for that. I think Trump did plenty for pretty much all communities, though. Helping fund education for blacks and Hispanics was just one thing he did. It's just that caring about white people in the slightest makes you a white supremacist nowadays, especially if you're on the right (well at least according to these leftists).

yes, but nobody cared when it was brought up. People still defended this after it was known that black owned businesses were destroyed by it. My introduction to BLM rioting was that a black football player had started a store and it got looted in a BLM riot and the rioters didn't care that he was black. So, no, things aren't too different. The only difference is people claim to care about black people now.

The looters were just in it to steal stuff and destroy property, I really doubt they cared about any of the politics behind the whole issue.

And people defended that and called you racist if you condemned that behavior. They used the race card (more honestly, they used a black protection card) to get away with stuff that should have been illegal. Plus whether the store owners were white or black isn't really relevant, as looting is looting, but I mentioned that they did it to black owned stores bc they claimed to be looting in the name of black justice while harming black lives. It would be like someone claiming to care about American people but then giving away things that give us trillions of income so that the debt skyrockets and more poverty is produced. Oh wait...
