Question: Do you think a fertilized egg is a child?

It is a human being, one that God decided to create by the very fact it is alive to begin with. Because human beings have come up with their own scientific definitions to define each stage does not change this.

I didn't ask if it was a human being, I asked if it was a child. And the fact that it exists doesn't mean god created it.

No, that's what a book claims. And that book was written by fallible humans who made lots of mistakes.

Ah, but you see, I don't care how you try to control the conversation. By any realistic view, of course it is a child, in the child's earliest stages of growth. There is no doubt it is alive.
