Lowest electricity rates from 8:00 pm to 10:00 am, higher rate from then until 2:00 pm, then the highest rate from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Trying to get people to postpone running large appliances like washers, dryers, and dishwashers during peak times and to not run their air conditioners as much. Obviously charging cars fits in there as well.
