Read the headline again, it says "Passover AND Good Friday". Do you not know what Good Friday is? Not to mention that the story of the Passover is instrumental in the story of Moses and the ten commandments which is also a foundation of Christianity and Judeo Christian societies.

So God was wrong for wanting to free his people from slavery. . .and gave Egypt many chances to do it the right way. They kept refusing and God kept hammering the point harder and harder until Passover and later the parting of the Red Sea because the Pharaoh could not just let go.
